A slender, darker relative of the Brown Noddy with a more contrasting white cap and finer bill, occurring in Bornean waters as a scarce non-breeding visitor around offshore reefs and islets.
Feeds in flocks over shoaling fish, picking prey from the surface in buoyant flight, and generally more strictly associated with clear oceanic waters than its commoner relative.
