A small Acrocephalus warbler with a bold blackish eyebrow stripe, a scarce winter visitor to Borneo's reedbeds and marshy scrub from its Asian breeding range.
Forages low and inconspicuously among reeds and grass stems, gleaning insects, and gives a distinctive sharp, dry alarm call.
